“Insomnia” follows Will Dormer, a Los Angeles police officer sent to Nightmute, Alaska with his partner Hap Eckhart to investigate the murder of a 17-year-old girl, Kay Connell. Now, he must prove to everyone that it was all an accident while still trying to apprehend a murderer on the loose.
