What Is Loki About?
Set after the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” “Loki” centers around its titular character, also known as the god of mischief. After stealing the Tesseract in Endgame, Loki finds himself arrested by the Time Variance Authority, or TVA, an organization with the objective of maintaining the flow of time and preserving the Sacred Timeline. Since Loki is now a “variant,” an individual who violates the Sacred Timeline, the TVA gives him an ultimatum: to disappear from the universe or fix the Sacred Timeline by stopping a greater threat.
