They start to interact when Hadley has no way to charge her dying phone, so Oliver offers his. Right at that moment, they lock eyes and sparks fly. As they talk, they discover that Hadley is on the way to London for a wedding while Oliver is on his way to his mother’s memorial and to be with his family. Throughout the flight, they start to develop a bond, and their connection deepens. When it is finally time for them to land and go their separate ways, they exchange contacts, but Hadley drops her phone and loses her means to connect with Oliver.
