What is Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation About?
“Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” is the fifth film of the Mission: Impossible franchise. In this installment, Ethan Hunt and his team go rogue. Since the Impossible Mission Force (IMF) was dissolved and absorbed by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), most former teammates comply and start working at the CIA. On the other hand, Ethan goes on the run, knowingly putting a target on his back. As Ethan hunts down the Syndicate, an extremist group with rogue agents planted in government forces, he also tries to evade the CIA. Along the way, he meets MI6 agent Ilsa Faust, who helps him escape from the Syndicate’s torture when he got caught by the group. He then cleverly rallies the former IMF team and they work together on the down low to take out the Syndicate, headed by former MI6 agent Solomon Lane. The team works with Agent Faust, but she has her own orders from the MI6 and eventually, she goes behind their backs. However, she discovers that she is being framed for an MI6 initiative gone wrong. With teamwork and a touch of advanced technology, they manage to put Lane behind bars. The IMF is also reinstated after the success of the said mission.
