Unfortunately, Freddie starts feeling uncomfortable about her father’s rap attention and she stops communicating with him. This angers him and he comes to her drunk, reprimanding her for her actions. This turns Freddie off completely and she asks him to leave her alone, the film going on to show that she starts to ignore his emails even years later. On the other hand, her mother informed the adoption center that she would not like to meet her daughter, but after some more emails, she agrees. Freddie and her real mother meet up and the mother gives her her email address, but when Freddie reaches out to her a year later, she discovers the email has gone invalid.
