What Is Shazam! Fury of the Gods About?
“Shazam! Fury of the Gods” is a superhero film based on DC Comics’ Shazam. The superhero flick is the 12th film in the DCEU and the second to the last film before the franchise reboots in “The Flash.” The story takes place two years after the Shazam family’s debut in 2019’s “Shazam!”
The Shazam family has established themselves as full-fledged superheroes, but their relationships become strained as they drift apart from each other. Billy Batson, A.K.A Shazam, fears that he’ll lose his family as he becomes older.

“Shazam! Fury of the Gods” has an entertaining and action-heavy 130-minute runtime. The film premiered in the Fox Village Theater on March 14, 2023. It hit theaters on March 17, 2023.
