In “The Uncanny Counter,” the fictional city of Jungjin is currently overrun by demons who possess human beings with evil tendencies and push them to act on their inner evil desires. A group of demon hunters known as Counters are chosen by a spirit and given superhuman strength and abilities. They are tasked with protecting the city by banishing these demons. However, when one of the said demons gets killed, his spirit is left without a host and it eventually finds a new one – a high school boy named So Mun. The Korean series was produced by Neo Entertainment (Season 1) and Betty & Creators (Season 2) with Kim Jin-yi, Lee Hyang-bong, and Bae Ik-hyuk as producers and Kim Seon-tae as the Executive producer.
