What Is Totally Killer About?
In 1987, the Sweet 16 Killer brutally murdered three teenage girls on the night of their 16th birthday. In the present day, seventeen-year-old Jamie finds her mother, Pam, stabbed to death by the same killer. Pam also used to be friends with the first three victims when she was younger. As she grieves her mother’s death, Jamie devises a time machine to travel back to the past and prevent the killer’s first murder spree. Upon arriving in 1987, Jamie sees Pam as a teenager and discovers that she and her friends are bullies and are hated by everyone in town. Jamie manages to infiltrate their friend group, masquerading as an exchange student from Canada. Jaime’s time in the past is limited, and she must find ways to help them find the Sweet 16 Killer before she gets trapped in the past forever.
